About

For over 30 years, our Sephardic community in Hampstead has radiated warmth, conviviality, and tradition. Originally, around twenty families united by friendship transformed this duplex on Harrow Street into a true spiritual home, a place of prayer to celebrate Shabbat and the holidays.

Today, our community has grown to include over 120 families! Nahar Chalom is not just a synagogue; it is a vibrant place of liturgical chants, children’s laughter, and warm interactions between generations.

We are very proud to take charge of the future of the synagogue with large-scale projects, including securing a new building that will meet the growing needs of our current members and allow us to welcome their family and friends – Yohan, Rabbi Yoel, Sam and Frederic
